Our Family Play Café is packed with toys rooted in STEM — from LEGO builds to magnet tiles and board games. It’s all designed to spark curiosity and problem‑solving, giving children a pathway into Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths… without them even realising they’re learning!
We have a variety of stations where children can experiment & discover new things.

Why is STEM learning so great?
It’s an exciting way to learn
Children love learning by doing, and this is the perfect place for them to use their hands & minds to create new things. Through playing with our Lego, magnets, and craft supplies, children develop vital STEM skills such as problem solving, collaboration, spatial awareness and creativity.
It's a different activity
It’s not every day that children get to do construction, take part in creative challenges and explore new technology. STEM learning engages children academically by enhancing analytical thinking, but also inspires creativity.
It’s calm
No mind-numbing TV shows.
No blaring music.
Instead, children can avoid overstimulation and let their imaginations and creativity thrive.
It's flexible
Bring along your children to explore our STEM space while you enjoy a cup of tea or a bite to eat with some friends or get some work done in our upstairs overspill café area.
Rules of play
Who is it for?
This space is set up with curious kids aged 4+ in mind. We welcome younger children in our Play Cafe, but please ensure they are supervised, as there are small objects like LEGO within reach.
Choose it, Use it, Put it away
We want as many people to enjoy our STEM play space as possible:
Choose it :Choose any of our toys or games to play with
Use it : Play on one of our special games tables or grab a tray and play at your table
Put it away :When you have finished with it, please put it back so some one else can enjoy it
